ree

CentreStage is thrilled to announce our 2027 major musical event — Disney’s Frozen – The Broadway Musical, opening at the Geelong Arts Centre from 5 to 21 March 2027.

After years of anticipation, the magic of Arendelle will come alive on stage in a breathtaking new production that celebrates courage, love, and the unbreakable bond between sisters. Featuring a full orchestra, dazzling costumes, and spectacular effects, Frozen promises to be one of the most visually stunning and emotionally powerful productions ever staged in Geelong.

Audiences can expect to hear all their favourite songs from the beloved Disney film, including Let It Go, Do You Want to Build a Snowman?, For the First Time in Forever, and Love Is an Open Door — alongside incredible new music written exclusively for the Broadway production by Academy Award® winners Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

“Frozen captures everything we love about musical theatre — heart, spectacle, and storytelling that brings people together,”

says Managing Director David Greenwood OAM.

“Our goal is to deliver a production that feels as grand as Broadway, while celebrating the incredible talent and spirit of our local community.”

This follows CentreStage’s acclaimed seasons of Come From Away, Priscilla, & Juliet, and Les Misérables. Known for our dedication to professional-quality theatre and accessible community participation, Frozen marks an exciting new chapter in CentreStage’s creative journey.

Tickets will be available exclusively through the Geelong Arts Centre. Sign up to our newsletter or follow us on social media to be the first to know when bookings open — because this is one journey through Arendelle you won’t want to miss.
