CentreStage Middle Troupe Set to Seize the Stage with Newsies Jr. in October 2025

CentreStage is proud to announce that our Middle Troupe students, aged 10 to 13, will take on the bold and spirited production of Newsies Jr. this October 2025. Inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899, Newsies Jr. is packed with heart, energy, and the inspiring message of standing up for what's right.

This junior adaptation of the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit is a perfect vehicle for our young performers to shine. With its high-energy musical numbers, dynamic choreography, and uplifting storyline, Newsies Jr. promises to be one of our most exciting and engaging youth productions to date.

Managing Director David Greenwood OAM shared,

Auditions for Newsies Jr. will be open exclusively to students enrolled in our weekly theatre program for ages 9–13. Being part of this exciting show offers students a chance to develop their skills in acting, singing, and movement in a fun and supportive environment. We also offer classes for all ages 4-18.

Limited places are still available in our Saturday afternoon classes (12–3 PM) for students interested in joining. If your child is passionate about performing and ready to make 2025 their year to shine, this is the perfect opportunity.
