Class and Rehearsal Cancellations

Dear CentreStage families,

Earlier today, Acting Premier James Merlino announced new restrictions relating to the COVID cluster surrounding the Epping North outbreak. These new restrictions are to protect our families and CentreStage will continue to ensure our families receive great ''value for money' in a safe and supportive environment.

Please note the following.

1. Classes on 29 May and 31st May (Saturday and Monday) will be postponed with additional classes scheduled in to make up the loss of time.

2. On Saturday, CentreStage will livestream an archive production via the student portal (non compulsory) for troupes as entertainment value or those considering auditioning at the end of the year for our major 2022 production. To watch the live stream on Saturday, visit www.centrestage.org.au/studentportal and enter the password beginning at 12pm (midday). During the live stream, students will have the ability to chat with each other about their favourite moments or roles they would like to play. If you have tech difficulties, please call 52721775 for one of our staff to support you.

3. To ensure families have money, a makeup class (Junior, Middle and Senior Troupes) will be extended for the full day rehearsals in September School Holiday. (Please check your schedule in the student portal). This will ensure families receive full value for money. 4. Elite classes will be extended 45 mins on selected weeks in Term 3. This will be reflected in the class schedule located in the student portal shortly once confirmed with industry professionals.

4. Puff Rehearsals on 30,31 May and 2 June are cancelled due to the 7 day lock down.

Shortly the rehearsal schedule will be updated to overcome this delay (lucky we are ahead). Please assume you will be required at all rehearsals until the schedule comes out later this week. There will still be no rehearsal on Sunday 13th (Queens Birthday weekend) and we may extend the Monday if required.

We thank parents and students for their continued support of CentreStage. If any families require support through this challenging time, please visit our health and wellbeing portal or email cpaa@centrestage.org.au In the next week, further class information will be sent out via SeeSaw from your teachers. Please ensure you can access SeeSaw either on a phone or pc.

Kindest Regards,

David Greenwood

Managing Director (On behalf of the educational team)
