Unleash Your Inner Star: Shine Bright with CentreStage's Talent Agency
Talent Applications
Do you have that special something? That spark, that larger-than-life personality? If the answer is yes, we’d like to meet you. We are always on the lookout for fresh new faces to add to our books. Whether you’re interested in commercials, television, events or musical theatre (or even all) we want to see what makes you stand out!
We host regular open-casting events at our offices in Geelong. This gives us a chance to dedicate an entire day to getting to know the kids that want to join the agency. We’ve found that events like these work well as kids often feel more relaxed when surrounded by others their own age. It also helps that we create a bit of a party atmosphere with music, balloons, and anything else we can think of to make it a fun day!
To register your interest, please send a photo (any) and a summary of your experience using the form below. An agent will then reach out to confirm a virtual meeting with both the performer and parent.... even if we already know you.

Memberships and Commissions
We've been in the game for a long time. We've heard horror stories and great outcomes from our actors who have been represented by other agents. We want to take those learnings to offer cost-effective, low-fee management. When you do well, our team feels rewarded. If you're not booking gigs, our fee structure ensures we're not rewarded and drives us to push harder.
At CentreStage, our member structure is different. This is unlike any other Talent Agency you've seen before. We're able to offer substantial discounts because of our expansive education program and major events.
Each individual represented will be required to pay an annual membership. The membership attached to your account will act as a safeguard to ensure students are financially committed to being represented. The membership dates July 1 to June 30 each year. If you join mid cycle, you will still be required to pay the full sum of the membership due to the account establishment and various platform set ups.

What to Expect at a Talent
Agency Audition
The first thing to know about a talent agency interview is that this is better looked at as an audition.
While you may not be asked to read a script, the talent agency is still seeing how your general personality and vibe will fit in with their crew. It’s going to be important for you to match their energy and their wavelength.
Once you’re comfortable knowing that this is an acting audition in and of itself, it’s important to remember to be prepared for anything.
You may be asked to read a script for a role that you’re totally unfamiliar with or you may be left waiting for hours until your talent agent shows up. Either way, it’s key to remain open-minded and flexible.
You’re also going to want to have relevant and recent educational references that you can share with the talent agency. Talent agencies like to know that you’re continuously improving your skills. Showing up with no recent classwork won’t serve you well.
And, don’t forget to ask questions!
One of the biggest mistakes people make, whether in a job interview or a talent agency audition, is not asking questions.
Asking questions lets your potential agent know that you’re interested in the position. It also shows them that you’ve done your research on who they are and are curious about learning more.
