Educators
We're seeking to appoint additional educators to assist CentreStage in a combinations of tasks including teaching, clerical and creative mentoring.
​​
These positions will be casually restored between 8.30am - 6.30pm each Saturday (during school terms) - approximately 40 weeks a year and occasional work during school holidays as required/available.
​
CentreStage Pty Ltd offer above industry rates. Experienced teachers with qualifications will be offered higher rate per hour.
​
The successful applicant will be working with a range of activities for a local theatre company.
​
About the role, but not restricted to:
​

Assisting the Head of Tuition when necessary with clerical tasks
-
Teaching a range of dance, singing, acting (dependent on applicants strengths)
-
Managing a group of up to 45 children in a team of educators
-
working unsupervised
-
Strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality
-
coordinating elements of a musical production
-
OHS duties as required
-
Ensuring venue is treated with respect and clean on departure

Communicating with parents as required via SeeSaw

About the applicant
-
Experience with musical theatre
-
Qualifications or experience working with children
-
Working with children's check
-
Level 2 First aid certificate or willingness to obtain prior to Feb 20th
-
Attention to detail
-
18 + Age
-
Clear and concise communication skills both verbally & written a necessity
-
Reliable with strong work ethics
-
Great sense of humour
-
Updated resume with references

Working with Children's Check

Available to commence January 2020
